Live draw of lots for Hajj-2008 on DD Kashir on July 10

Srinagar, Jul 5 (UNI) The State Hajj committee today, for the first time, decided to telecast live the draw of lots for Hajj-2008 for more transparency.

According to Executive Officer Jammu and Kashmir Hajj Committee, the draw of lots, for confirmation of Hajj seats in favour of the intending pilgrims of Hajj 1429 (H)-2008 (AD) shall be held on July 10, 2008 at 1100 hrs, at the office of Jammu and Kashmir State Hajj Committee, Baitul Hujjaj (Hajj House), Bemina, Srinagar.

The event would be telecast live on Doordarshan's Kashmiri Channel (DD Kashir).
