One drowns in village tank

Kakinada, Jul 3 (UNI) A farm worker drowned in the village tank in T Thimmapuram Village today According to police Appana Sreenu (17) slipped into the tank while grazing the cattle on the tank bund.

Tuni rural police have registered a case.

In another incident, a farmer, Dwarapudi Rambabu (45) allegedly committed suicide owing to domestic problems by consuming alcohol mixed with a pesticide at his home in Anuru Kothur Village under Peddapuram police station limits.
