O P S Malik takes over as ADG of SSB

New Delhi, Jul 3 (UNI) Mr O P S Malik took over the charge of the Additional Director General, Sashastra Seema Bal yesterday.

Mr Malik, is a well-decorated IPS Officer of Uttar Pradesh Cadre with an illustrious career spread out across CRPF and BSF too.

Before joining SSB, he was Additional Director General Crime Branch (CID), Additional Director General (Int.) and Additional Director General (Telecom) in Uttar Pradesh Police.

He has been decorated with the Police Medal for Gallantry in 1991, Indian Police Medal for Meritorious Service on the occasion of Republic Day, 1994, President's Police Medal for Distinguished Service on the occasion of Republic Day, 2000 and OP. Parakram Medal.

Mr Malik replaces Mr Vikram Srivastava, IPS, who recently took over as Director General, ITBP.
