Dr Saranjit Singh appointed Dean of NIPER

Mohali, Jul 2 (UNI) Dr Saranjit Singh, Professor and Head, Department of Pharmaceutical Analysis, National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research (NIPER), Mohali has been appointed as the Dean of NIPER.

Dr Singh will succeed Professor K K Bhutani, who will be completing his second term of three years today.

Dr Singh is a well recognised international expert in the areas of drug stability testing, expiry dating and impurity profiling of pharmaceuticals. He is a member of Expert Advisory Panel on the International Pharmacopoeia and Pharmaceutical Preparations, World Health Organisation, Geneva. He is also a member of the Scientific Committee of the Indian Pharmacopoeia Commission.
