Kandasamy discusses political situation with Sonia

Puducherry, Jun 27: Puducherry Welfare Minister M Kandasamy called on congress President Sonia Gandhi in New Delhi.

When contacted Mr Kandasamy said he had discussed with Ms Gandhi matters pertaining to the development of the party in the union territory, the present state of affairs in the Rangasamy government and other administrative matters.

However, Mr Kandasamy refused to divulge Ms Gandhi's response.

It may be noted that all the five ministers had rushed to New Delhi yesterday, following the ultimatum of one week given to Chief Minister N Rangasamy by the party High Command to sort out the differences with them, ended.

They are camping in the capital.
