Neyveli Lignite Q4 net up 1,357.12 pc

New Delhi, Jun 27: Neyveli Lignite Corporation Ltd said its net profit has surged a whopping 1,357.12 per cent to Rs 384.68 crore for the quarter ended March 2008 as compared to Rs 26.40 crore for the same quarter a year agov.Total income has increased 78.68 per cent to Rs 1,013.97 crore for Q4 FY08 from Rs 567.46 crore for the same period a year ago.

Its net profit for the year ended March 2008 increased 94.35 per cent to Rs 1,101.57 crore as compared to Rs 566.78 crore for the previous fiscal. Total income for FY08 stood at Rs 3,638.07 crore for FY08 as against Rs 2,705.19 crore for FY07, a hike of 34.48 per cent.
