Pratik and Madhura share SSC top position in Mumbai
Mumbai, Jun 26 (UNI) Two students, Pratik Ramdasi of S V Joshi School Dombivli and Madhura Naik of Adarsh Vidhya Mandir Ulhasnagar, stood first in Mumbai division with 96.61 per cent marks in the Secondary School Certificate (SSC) examination, held during March 2008, results declared here today.
The overall passing percentage is 86.25. Total 2,89,589 students appeared for the exams out of which, 2,49,762 students passed. Last year the passing per cent was 84.57. This year's result is better by two per cent.
Among the Backward Class, Snehal Geete from Chogle School of Borivali secured 95.23 per cent and Manali Naik from Balmohan Vidhyamandir of Dadar stood first in disabled category with 96.46 per cent.
