PMK holds victory march on Jipmer

Puducherry, June 26 (UNI) The Pattali Makkal Katchi (PMK) today took out a victory procession to celebrate the party's sucess in converting the Jipmer Hospital here into an autonomous institution.

PMK Founder-Leader S Ramadoss flagged off the procession infront of the Jipmer here this evening.

The procession would traverse the main thoroughfares of the town and reach the Singaravelar Statue where Dr Ramadoss would address a public meeting tonight.

The procession and public meeting scheduled to be held earlier was postponed in view of the DMK's Women's Conference in Cuddalore on the same date.
