Women police station attacked with rifle granades in Srinagar

Srinagar, Jun 21 (UNI) Militants today attacked the only women police station here at Rambagh on the Srinagar-Airport road, official sources said.

They said the militants fired three rifle grenades from an unidentified place towards the police station in the uptown at 1930 hrs.

However, two of the grenades exploded in the mid air while another fell nearby a flood channel after missing the target .

Later, the unexploded grenade was defused.

The sources said there was no lose of life or property.
