Exim Bank signs line of credit with Cote D'Ivorie
Mumbai, Jun 19: Export Import bank of India (EXIM Bank) has signed a line of credit agreement for 25.5 million dollars with the Government of Cote D'Ivorie.
The line of credit was signed at Abidjan yesterday, for financing the Mahatma Gandhi IT and BT park, a fisheries processing unit and a coconut fibre processing plant, EXIM Bank said in a release here today. The bank would fully reimburse the contract value to Indian exporters upfront, upon the shipment of goods.
EXIM Bank already has in place a line of credit amounting to 26.8 million USD, extended to the Government of Cote D'Ivorie and it had been utilised for renewal of urban transport system in Abidjan and for agricultural projects in the fields of vegetable oil extraction and production of cocoa and coffee.
The Bank has in place 95 lines of credit, covering 90 countries with credit commitment of over USD three billion available for financing exports from the country.
