India-Russia-China forum has very bright future: Russia
New Delhi, Jun 17 (UNI) Russia is very optimistic about the ''bright prospect'' of the India-Russia-China forum which will create an atmosphere of trust between the two Asian giants--India and China.
Russian Ambassador to India, V I Trubnikov, said at a press conference here today after inaugurating a media section of the Russian Information Centre (RIC) that he was ''very optimistic'' about the forum and all the three countries of the ''troika'' were bound by mutual interests.
''It is founded on mutual interests. In case there is a contradiction, it is possible to get solutions...This is to create a climate of real trust between two Asian giants. For this they should concentrate on removal of irritants,'' he said.
Referring to the border problem between India and China, Mr Trubnikov said he saw a bright future even though the solution was a prolonged one. But the two countries had to reach a complete understanding.
''The border problem (between India and China) can't be considered unresolvable,'' he added admitting that it would take time.
Pointing out that Sino-Indian trade had increased from 40 billion US dollars lasy year to 38 billion dollars till now and was expected to go upto 60 billions this year, the Ambassador said it signified a ''very bright prospect'' for this ''troika''.
