Sinha to leave J

Srinagar, Jun 15 (UNI) Outgoing Jammu and Kashmir Governor Lt Gen(retd) S K Sinha will leave the state on June 25 to make way for the new incumbent, former Union Home Secretary N N Vohra.

A Raj Bhavan spokesperson said the Governor had accepted some requests by different organisations for his farewell functions in Srinagar and Jammu.

This will be done concurrently with packing his belongings at both places.

The spokesperson described as a total figment of imagination the speculation in a section of the press that Gen Sinha has been lobbying with various authorities and individuals to stay on in the State.
