K'taka Circuit Benches to start work from Jul 7

Dharwad, Karnataka, Jun 14 (UNI) Karnataka High Court's Circuit Benches at Dharwad and Gulbarga will start functioning from July 7, Justice S R Bannurmath said today.

Talking to reporters after visiting the construction site at Water and Land Management Institute (WALMI) here, he said the Circuit Benches at Dharwad and Gulbarga would be inaugurated on July 4 and July 5, respectively, by Chief Justice of India K G Balakrishnan.

Justice R V Raveendran of the Supreme Court, Chief Justice of Karnataka High Court C Joseph and State Chief Minister B S Yeddyurappa would participate in the functions, he added.

Leading a team of High Court Judges, Justice Bannurmath directed the PWD authorities to complete the construction work before July 4.
