Permionics bags order worth Rs 25.89 crore from Vizag steel plant

Ahmedabad, Jun 7 (UNI) Permionics Membranes Private Limited, Vadodara, has bagged an order worth Rs 25.89 crore from Rashtriya Ispat Nigam Limited Sewage Treatment Plant and Associated reverse Osmosis membranes system to produce recycle water quality at its Vizag Steel Plant.

Permionics Membranes Director Satyajai Mayor said, ''Permionicns is a leader in the Membranes segment with a strong presence in India and abroad this gives us the unique advantage of combining our expertise.'' This project is the fifth order to be executed by us on a turnkey basis and is scheduled to be commissioned by September 2009.

He said that April this year, Permionics had bagged its first order worth Rs 36.75 crore to supply Waste Water Treatment and Recycling Plant for the Vizag Steel Plant. This repeat order is a testimonial to Permionics' commitment to quality and innovation.

Mr Mayor said that this is the fifth order received by Permionicns in the last six months to be executed on turnkey basis and by 2010 Permionicns is going to emerge as one of the fastest growing Water Treatment and Solution Provider company in India. Permionics has recently supplied Reverse Osmosis Membranes System at Barmer in Rajasthan for Cairs India's offshore oil field through Larsen and Toubro Limited's ECC division.
