BJP wants Home Minister to clarify media reports on his son

New Delhi, Jun 7 (UNI) Taking note of newspaper reports about Mr Shailesh Patil, son of Union Home Minister Shivraj Patil, allegedly misusing his father's official residence for his personal business gains, the BJP today asked the Home Minister to come clean on the issue.

BJP spokesman Ravishankar Prasad said the reports alleged that Home Minister's son and his daughter-in-law had used the official residential address for expanding their business after they got associated with an Ambala-based distillery.

''As a matter of policy we don't comment on any individual.

However, we have not seen Mr Patil's response even after the the reports got published. He has to issue a clarification on these reports,'' Mr Prasad said.
