Strict action against black marketeers and hoarders: Deshmukh
Mumbai, Jun 5 (UNI) Maharashtra chief minister Vilasrao Deshmukh today said the government will take strict action against the black marketeers and hoarders.
A CPI(M) delegation led by MLA Narsaiah Adam today called on Mr Deshmukh and submitted a memorandum on the rising prices.
Mr Deshmukh said the government had asked the fair price shop owners to write about the stocks of kerosene and foodgrains on boards. 'If they fail to do so, action will be taken against them', he said.
Meanwhile, deputy chief minister R R Patil also warned of strict action against the black marketeers and hoarders.
