Diomands worth Rs 1 crore stolen in Surat

Surat, Jun 5 (UNI) Diamonds worth Rs one crore were stolen from a diamond company in the Katargam area of the city, police said today.

According to police, thieves entered the office of Akshar Diamond at Shreeji Diamond Apartments in Katargam area of the city last night by cutting the door lock and safe vault with a gas cutter.

They decamped with diamonds worth Rs one crore, police added.

A man-hunt has been launched for the robbers.
