R Dhamodaran joins as Cisco's Sr VP of Channel Operations

New Delhi, June 3 (UNI) Cisco today appointed R Dhamodaran as Senior Vice President (Channel Operations and Commercial Strategy) for its India and SAARC operations.

In this role, Mr Dhamodaran's primary focus would be on strengthening Cisco's relationships with its partner community as well as drive the effort towards entrenching the company's presence in the commercial market, which is amongst the fastest growing segments for it in the region, a company statement said.

Mr Dhamodaran, in his current capacity will report directly to Cisco President and Country Manager (India and SAARC) Naresh Wadhwa.

Mr Dhamodaran has over 20 years of experience in the IT industry. He joins Cisco from IBM India where he was Director (Software Alliances and Investment Territory Sales) in IBM Asia Pacific.

He has also worked with Fujitsu ICIM, IDM Ltd, MMTC Ltd and ISRO.
