Maid, accomplice arrested for abducting 10-month-old child

New Delhi, June 3 (UNI) Police have arrested two people, including a maid servant, in connection with the June 1 kidnapping of a 10-month-old child from Surajmal Vihar in east Delhi.

Maid Radha (40) was arrested yesterday from Chattarpur in Madhya Pradesh and the child was recovered from her possession, police said today.

Later her nephew Puran Chand (26), who worked as a 'chowkidar' (guard), was arrested from Delhi today after investigations revealed his involvement in the abduction of the child.

Radha later confessed that she abducted the child, with the help of Puran Chand, from the residence of Durgesh where she worked as a maid and fled to Chattarpur (MP).
