Lotus eye sells 2.55 lakh equity shares to Bennett for Rs 50 each
New Delhi, Jun 3 (UNI) In a pre-IPO placement, Lotus Eye Care Hospital today said it has sold 2.55 lakh equity shares of Rs 10 each to publishing house Bennett, Coleman and Company, at a price of Rs 50 each.
The company proposes to enter the capital markets with a public issue of Rs 42 crore to part finance its Rs 55 crore plan for expansion of existing facilities and establishment of new centers with latest technologies, company said in a statement.
Lotus Eye Care Hospital is a part of the eye care hospital group successfully functioning in Southern India with specialisation in super-specialty service related to eye care.
It has a network of four eye care hospitals based at Coimbatore (2), Salem (1) and Tirupur (1).
Lotus has been the pioneer in inducting latest world-class technologies into our country. Multi scan Lasik, Epilasik, Zyoptix Z100 are some of the technologies introduced by Lotus.
