BPM meeting resolves to maintain peace along Indo-China border
Kolkata, Jun 2 (UNI) A Border Personnel Meeting (BPM) between India and China was held at Indo-China border at Bum La (Arunachal Pradesh) on May 30 to foster peace along the border.
During the meeting, the Indian delegation leader extended felicitations to his Chinese counterpart and conveyed grief over the loss of lives due to the earthquake in East China, according to a release here today.
Both the delegations reaffirmed their resolve to maintain peace and tranquility along the border.
BPM is conducted every year in May and has been conducted at Bum La since 1999.
