Godman remanded to police custody for 6 more days

Kochi, May 28 (UNI) A lower court today remanded controversial godman Amritachaitanya alias Santhosh Madhavan to police custody for six more days.

Chief Judicial Magistrate, Ernakulam, P S Soman allowed the application moved by the police seeking custody of Santosh Madhavan for more time.

The police submitted they needed Madhavan for investigation into the cheating case relating to NRI businesswoman Serafin Edwin who had complained the godman had borrowed Rs 40 lakh from her and did not return it.
