CM refutes TRS Prezi's allegations
Hyderabad, May 26 (UNI) Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy has refuted the allegations made by TRS President K Chandrasekhara Rao that the state Government is trying to bring Godavari water to the city for drinking purpose from Pranahita through Yellampalli project.
In a statement here today, Dr Reddy said that Mr Rao's charges were baseless and he was trying to mislead the people of Telangana.
He said the Congress High Command was trying for a consensus on a separate Telangana issue and Mr Rao was misleading the people to gain political mileage.
He took strong objection to the remarks of TDP President N Chandrababu Naidu that the subsidised rice at Rs two per kg being supplied by the Government was not good for human consumption.
He said that Mr Naidu was making ''unimplementable'' promises aiming to come back to power.
