Centre to construct youth hostel at Tarn Taran

Jalandhar, May 26 (UNI) Union Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports has in principle decided to construct a youth hostel at Tarn Taran.

A release issued here today stated that the Union Sports Ministry in its communication sent to the Punjab's Youth Services and Sports Department Principal Secretary had asked for preliminary estimates, site plan and drawings prepared by CPWD for further action.

The construction of the hostel would give boost to the tourism and would greatly benefit the pilgrims visiting the city, the release added.
