Book to mitigate marital woes released

New Delhi, May 26 (UNI) If you are vying to please your wife or striving hard to mitigate your marital woes, here is a book providing you useful guidelines to add warmth to your clammy ties.

The book titled, 'How to Win The Heart of Your Wife' written by Gireesh Sharma, was released yesterday by Neera Shastri, noted women activist and daughter-in-law of former Prime Minister Lal Bahadur Shastri.

Launching the book, Ms Shastri said,'' Whatever the author has written is true. It is an honour to release the book.'' ''He has highlighted marital life so well which will help to change the mindset of people. I am sure this book will be appreciated by husbands and they would learn how to better respect and love their wives,'' she said, praising the author's initiative.

She further hoped the book would change the perspective of men towards women.

Mr Sharma, a budding writer with just one book to his credit earlier, was quite optimistic with his second venture. ''I am hopeful because most of the things in the book are based on practical experiences,'' says fanatic Mr Sharma.

So from where did he get the idea? Did he ever go through the trauma of marital discord? ''Earlier we had some problems and our married life went awry for some time. But after initial blues we were able to bring peace in our life,'' says Mr Sharma, giving reasons that prompted him to pen down the book.

He points out that the book furnishes practical tips and is based on good amount of analysis. '' I researched a lot by talking to many couples both in urban and rural areas,'' avers Mr Sahrma.

The book divided under many heads, covers different aspects of a woman's life, her status in society and anticipated wishes from married life.

The author, giving vivid details of marital experiences, has tried to touch the basics of married life to make it successful and prevent it from being on the rocks.
