Bangla couple arrested for murdering former MCD employee

New Delhi, May 26 (UNI) The Delhi police have solved the case of May 16 murder of a former MCD employee in Narela in Outer Delhi with the arrest of a Bangladeshi couple.

Kudesh and Heena were arrested from Alipur for murdering 63 year old Lal Singh, a former MCD driver. His body was found in a flat in Narela on May 16 in a highly decomposed state.

On sustained interrogation, Kudesh and Heena confessed to have murdered Lal Singh, with whom they were staying as servants for last some time, with a stone and knife.

A case under section 14 of the Foreigners Act has also been registered against the duo, who did not have a valid visa to stay in India.
