AG moves to High Court against Col Bainsla

Jaipur, May 26 (UNI) A petition was filed today before the Rajasthan High Court, against Gujjar Reservation Action Committee Convener Col Kirodi Singh Bainsla for breach of an undertaking given by him for maintaining law and order.

In a petition filed by the Advocate General BP Agrawal, the petitioner, prayed that contempt of court proceeding might be initiated against the Gujjar leader for not keeping the commitment made before the court.

During Gujjar agitation for ST status to the community last year, Col Bainsla had allegedly given an undertaking to the court that law and order would not be disrupted by them during their agitation.
