Laser clinic for women launched in Chennai

Chennai, May 23 (UNI) Satin Skin, a health care provider, has launched a laser clinic for treatment of acne, wrinkle reduction, burn and scars for women.

Satin Skin said the treatment of skin differed from person to person according to the skin type.

'Affirm Fractional Laser' from Cynosure US was one form of treatment which was a 'revolutionary' method for treating scars and wrinkles, a release here today said.

With this treatment one could permanently get rid of scars from acne, pimples, surgery, burns and also reduce wrinkles and other age related problems of skin like sagging.

The release said ''Lyra'' was another type of laser treatment for hair removal which had shown 85 to 95 per cent permanent hair reduction. It could also be used to tackle remnant scars from leg vein, and spider-vein.

The clinic was launched at the upmarket Adyar area in the city yesterday providing one stop centre for all skin problems.

All the equipment used in the clinic was approved by the USFDA and technicians trained in the US, the release claimed.
