Singapore Airlines tie-up with Citibank, Global Hotel

New Delhi, May 21 (UNI) Singapore Airlines has tied up with Citibank India and Global Hotel Alliance to give its customers in the Indian sub-continent an array of experiences under its KrisFlyer loyalty Programme.

The Citibank credit card customers can now convert every one Citibank reward point received into two KrisFlyer miles, that when accumulated, can get them their Singapore Airlines ticket, Singapore Airlines General Manager C W Foo said in a statement today.

The partnership with Global Hotel, Alliance (GHA) will allow Singapore Airlines' customers to redeem 500 KrisFlyer miles for a luxurious stay at participating GHA properties which includes The Leela Palaces and Pan Pacific Hotels.

''This will help deliver a greater value and memorable experience for our customers in India,'' he said.

KrisFlyer programme reward miles can be redeemed for travel or stay, flight upgrades and companion tickets for family and friends.

For an accumulated 25,000 credited flight miles in any class of service on Singapore Airlines on a 12-month period, one can become a KrisFlyer Elite Silver member. Benefits include a 25 per cent bonus on actual miles flown.

One can also reach a KrisFlyer Elite Gold member status if one accumulates 50,000 credited flight miles in a 12-month period, between April 1 and March 31 each year. Benefits include increased check-in baggage allowance, priority check-in and boarding, and worldwide lounge access.

For those vying to qualify for its PPS Club membership, all that is needed is accrue a PPS Value of 25,000 Singapore dollars in First or Raffles Class on Singapore Airlines, or Business Class on SilkAir, within 12 consecutive months.
