Key seeds, edible oils, refined palm oil dips

Mumbai, May 21 (UNI) The prices of select seeds like sunflower and castorseed alongwith groundnut, palm and karanji oils today drifted lower, on poor demand by local bulk consumers in the face of larger stocks arrivals from producing centres.

Groundnutseed eased by Rs 10 and sesameseed by Rs 15 per quintal. In oils, groundnut ready and palm oil also eased by Rs five and Rs three per ten kg respectively, on sustained selling pressure by stockists, along with bearish advice from Gujarat, Karnataka and northern regions, traders of the Bombay Commodity Exchange said here today.
