Rajiv Gandhi's death anniv to be observed as anti-terrorism day
Bhopal, May 20 (UNI) Former Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi's 18th death anniversary would be observed as Anti-Terrorism Day in Madhya Pradesh tomorrow.
According to official information, seminars and discussions would be organised against terrorism and a pledge would be administered to people against terrorism and for maintaining peace.
Besides paying tributes to the former Prime Minister at its party headquarters, the Madhya Pradesh Congress Committee will organise a blood donation camp.
Prior to this, state Congress President Suresh Pachouri will garland late Rajiv Gandhi's statue near Habibganj station in the state capital.
Jawaharlal Youth Welfare and Social Research Centre will organise a seminar on 'Challenges before social equality and its solution' in the state capital. National Minorities Commission Chairman and former Madhya Pradesh Governor Mohammed Shafi Qureshi would be the chief guest on the occasion.
