CM to unveil life-size statue of Rajiv Gandhi tomorrow

Aurangabad, Maharashtra, May 20 (UNI) Chief Minister Vilasrao Deshmukh will unveil a life-size statue of former prime minister Rajiv Gandhi here at the Nehru Garden tomorrow on his 17th death anniversary.

In view of the long pending demand of local activists to install the statue of Gandhi here, the Aurangabad Municipal Corporation agreed to it, Mayor Vijaya Rahatkar told reporters today.

The Guardian Minister Patangrao Kadam and Minister of State Rajesh Tope will also be present on the occassion.
