May 22 holiday in Amritsar city due to bypoll

Chandigarh, May 19 (UNI) The Punjab Government has declared a public holiday on May 22 in its offices, corporations, boards and all educational institutions situated within the limits of the Amritsar Municipal Corporation on account of the bye-election to the Amritsar South assembly constituency.

It shall be a holiday under section 25 of the Negotiable instruments Act, an official release today stated.
