Srinagar, May 15 (UNI) The Jammu and Kashmir government has released Rs 16 crores for clearing the salary arrears of Public Health Engineering (PHE) enployees trained under the Industrial Training Institute (ITI), This decision was taken by Deputy Chief Minister Muzaffar Hussain Baig at a high level meeting called to take stock of the non-payment of wages to the specially recruited ITI-crash course trained employees of the PHE Department.
Mr Baig sanctioned an amount of Rs 16 crore for clearing the arrears on account of wages as well as for the future payment in the current financial year.
