Film Producer surrenders before police in city
Hyderabad, May 8 (UNI) Film Producer Abhinav Reddy, who had alleged links with the Mafia don Chota Rajan's close aide Aziz Reddy, who was killed in alleged police encounter last week in the city, surrendered before police here tonight.
Police said Abhinav Reddy, Co-producer of a Telugu film, surrendered before the police as another Co-producer Nikhil Reddy, lodged a complaint that Abhinav had attacked his office recently in connection with financial dispute between them.
Mr Nikhil had recently released a telephonic conversation with the slain Aziz, in which he forced him to pay Rs 40 lakh to Abhinav immediately.
Abhinav had invested money in 'Angrez 2' a film, which was being produced by Mr Nikhil, police added.
