White paper demanded on road projects of Patna
Patna, May 6 (UNI) Loktantrik Samata Dal today demanded a 'white paper' from the Nitish Kumar government revealing actual details behind the failures of the road projects of Patna.
Party state president P.K.Sinha said here that Mr Kumar should either issue a white paper or resign in view of his failure to complete the road projects.Following inertness of Mr Kumar the people of Patna would again be forced to reel under hellish situation in the next rainy season, he said.
He said the road projects and other drainage projects launched last year were still hanging in balance and were incomplete. The ministers were being held responsible for the delay and were reshuffled he said alleging that the contractors were also being removed leaving the work in lurch.
''The CM can not afford to isolate himself from the situation as he is ultimately responsible for the failures. Mr Kumar should quit his post as he had promised for smooth roads and had assured to save the people from waterlogging,'' said Mr Sinha.
