Six of a family died in road accident at Gujarat

Bhavnagar, May 3 (UNI) Six members of a Jain family died on the spot and others sustained injuries today after their ill-fated car collided with a speeding truck on Ahmedabad-Bhavnagar highway near Sanish village, around 30 kms away from here.

Preliminary report stated that the incident occurred this morning when the driver lost control over steering wheels killing the Jains, police said. The Jains hailing from Mumbai and were on their way to Palitana, a famous Jain pilgrim place.

The victims were yet to be identified, police added.
