Veteran freedom fighter Rajendra Prasad dead

Jaunpur, Apr 26 (UNI) Octogenarian veteran freedom fighter Rajendra Prasad today passed away at his native Shahpur village here after a prolonged illness.

He was 80.

Prasad fought during the second World War.

His last rites were performed with full state honour on the banks of Ganga Gomti.
