Marine police seizes 3 boats, 400 bags of maize

Kakinada, Apr 24 (UNI) The Kakinada Marine police today seized three boats and 400 bags of maize, worth Rs five lakh, reportedly pilfered from various godowns in the port area.

The marine police intercepted three boats in the salt creek, while they were transporting 400 bags of maize.

Nine people, all from Yetimoga area, who were involved in the pilferage and sale of maize were arrested and sent under judicial custody.
