45 government employees found absent from duty

Mirzapur, Apr 21 (UNI) Uttar Pradesh Secondary Education Minister Rangnath Mishra today gave surprise visit to several government departments in the district and ordered to deduct a day's salary of the 45 personnel for dereliction of duty.

While talking to mediapersons, the minister said during the inspection of several departments 10 officials, including Divisional Commissioner Satyajit Thakur, were found absent.

Besides, the SP, SSP and 35 other employees of different departments were also found absent.

The official had been asked to give explanation for their absence.

However, other employees had been issued warning of suspension on repeating the fault, besides deducting a day's salary, Mr Mishra added.
