Airtel customer bases crosses 8 lakh figure
Shimla, Apr 20 (UNI) Airtel Bharti, leading mobile service provider in Himachal Pradesh, has crossed 800,000 customer base in the hill state, a company official today said.
''According to figures released by the Cellular Operators Association of India (COAI), Airtel has now 8,05,399 customers in March 31, this year,'' said Airtel's Himachal Pradesh Chief Operating Officer (COO) Sanjay Bahl.
He said Airtel now has its presence in all the twelve districts of the state, including the tribal snow covered Lahaul and Spiti.
The number of Airtel mobile towers across the state has touched 850, Mr Bahal added.
Airtel is followed by the state-owned Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) with 5.40 lakh customers in the state.
