10 died, 24 injured, bus fell into gorge in J
Srinagar, Apr 20 (UNI) At least ten people were killed and 24 others injured when a bus skidded-off the road and fell into a gorge at Ramban on the Srinagar-Jammu National Highway, this afternoon.
Superintendent of Police (Traffic) Danish Raina told UNI over phone that a bus, belonging to the Karan travels fell into Batri Cheshma at Ramban.
He said eight bodies have so far been recovered.
About 24 injured were shifted to hospital.
The relief and rescue operation was still going on, he said.
