Three of family murdered in West Delhi

New Delhi, Apr 19 (UNI) Three members of a family were stabbed to death in Rajnagar Colony in West Delhi.

The incident occurred when the victims were at their home.

Vinod Verma, a telephone operator at the Hungarian Embassy, his wife Pushpa and daughter-in-law Pooja were apparently killed on Friday night.

Verma's adopted son Nitin was also stabbed and is presently undergoing medical treatment at a hospital in Palam.

An earlier report had suggested that Nitin had met with an accident on Friday night. When he failed to get any response from his family over telephone, he contaced his other relatives. The relatives later found that the Vermas had been murdered.

There were no signs of ransacking of the Verma household, which has put investigators in a tizzy. A family dispute could not be ruled out, police sources claimed.
