JK: LeT militant, OGW arrested in Doda

Jammu, Apr 18: A militant of Lashkar-e-Toiba (LeT) and an Over Ground Worker (OGW) were arrested by security forces from Bhaderwah town of Doda district, official sources here today said.

''Based on specific information, a joint operation was launched this morning by the district police and troops of 4 Rashtriya Rifles in Sheri Bazar area of Bhaderwah,''Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Doda Manohar Singh told UNI.

The LeT militant, identified as Iqhlaq Ahmed alias Muzammil Bhai, a resident of Lohar Thara, Chourola along with the OGW, identified as Abdul Samat Hajam, was arrested early today on a tip-off, the SSP said.

However, one Chinese pistol, two mobile phones, Rs 2,050 (Indian currency), a purse with LeT sticker, a diary, a LeT head-band and other incriminating material were recovered from their possession, the sources said.
