Miscreants loot Rs 35 lakh from bank vehicle in Delhi
New Delhi, Apr 16 (UNI) Miscreants today looted Rs 35 lakh from a car belonging to a private bank in Punjabi Bagh area of West Delhi, police said.
They said about four employees of Indus Ind Bank were travelling in a Maruti 800 car with Rs 35 lakh in cash when they were intercepted by as many miscreants in another vehicle (Santro) in Punjabi Bagh area.
The miscreants opened fire, resulting in bullet injury to bank guard Avadh Bihari. They later decamped with the money.
The employees had earlier deposited about Rs 15 lakh in an ATM of the bank.
Police have registered a case and launched investigations.
