Three members of family commit suicide

Mysore, Apr 12 (UNI) Three members of a family allegedly committed suicide at Marohalli in Jayapura Hobli in Mysore taluk today.

Police said Somanna (35), Mahadevamma (45) and Mahesha (15) ended their lives by consuming poison. The bodies of both Somanna and Mahadevamma were found in an agricultural field on the outskirts of the village. Mahesha, who could not bear the death of his mother, reportedly hanged himself at home, they said.

The reason for the suicide was not yet known, police said.
