Govt to try to get work order for HEC: Raghunath

Ranchi, Apr 12 (UNI) Union Minister of State for Heavy Industries Raghunath Jha today said that the Centre would soon sort out issues of pay revision and enhancement of retirement age of Heavy Engineering Corporation employees.

Talking to reporters here, Mr Jha said the matter was under consideration of the Union cabinet and any decision in this regard would be taken very soon.

Mr Jha said that government would also try to get work orders from SAIL, Coal India and railways for the HEC.

''I have asked the HEC management to prepare a proposal mentioning the pockets from where it could get work orders,'' Mr Jha said.
