Tibetans to stage protest march in Mumbai
Mumbai, Apr 11 (UNI) Tibetans-in-exile and human rights groups will participate in a protest march here tomorrow to highlight human rights abuse perpetuated by the Chinese military against protesters in Tibet.
The ''Freedom Walk'', from Metro Cinema to August Kranti Maidan, is being organised by Dharamsala-based Tibet Solidarity Committee. They would appeal to the United Nations (UN) and international community to dispatch a fact-finding delegation to Tibet and demand an end to the killings, a release said today.
The walk, which is a part of a three-day event, would be followed by a prayer session at Chaitya Bhumi to be presided over by Meenatai Ambedkar, the release added.
