BJP to release its first list tomorrow, JS(S) on April 15
Bangalore, Apr 9(UNI) Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) will release its first list of candidates for the next month elections to the Karnataka Legislative Assembly, State President D V Sadananda Gowda said today.
Talking to newsmen here, he said that he would be leaving for New Delhi with a list of 160 candidates and after consultation with the party's Central Election Committee the list may be released by evening tomorrow.
"The party has decided to give tickets to all the members of the dissolved Assembly except a few who had allegedly involved in anti-party activities or had lost faith in their electorate," he added.
Meanwhile, Janata Dal (Secular) spokesman said that his party would announce the first list of 85 candidates on April 15 for the first phase of elections to 89 seats in 11 districts on May 10.
