Bellary records highest temp of 36 deg. cel.

Bangalore, Apr 9(UNI) Following is a summary of observations recorded by the Weather Office here at 0830hrs today.

Rainfall occurred at isolated places over Coastal Karnataka and North Interior Karnataka. dry weather prevailed over South Interior Karnataka.

Chief amounts of rainfall(cm): Rabkavi 3, Raibagh, Gokak, Chincholi, Belgaum City 1 each.

Maximum temperatures rose at a few places over South Interior Karnataka and changed little over Coastal Karnataka and North Interior Karnataka. They were appreciably below normal at most places over North Interior Karnataka; below normal at many places being appreciably so at a few places over North Interior Karnataka, however above normal at a few places over Coastal Karnataka.

Bellary recorded the highest maximum temperature of 36 Degree Celsius over the State.

Forecast valid until Friday morning: Rain/thundershowers likely to occur at isolated places over the State.

Farmers Weather Bulletin: Light to moderate rain/thundershowers likely in isolated places over all the districts of Coastal Karnataka, North Interior Karnataka and South Interior Karnataka.

Local forecast: Partly cloudy. Maximum temperature likely to be around 32 Degree Celsius.
